• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 – $1,820
• Position: Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) / Telemetry RN

• Setting: LTAC Med/Surg Tele Unit (Long-Term Acute Care)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Weekend Coverage: As needed
• On-call: Required (2 on-call or 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks)
• Orientation: 12 hours

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active or pending South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license required (must obtain before start)
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred) — experience in LTAC or acute care settings a plus
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
• Ability to pass arrhythmia and medication competency tests on first day
• Comfortable with ventilator management, telemetry monitoring, and care of complex medical patients
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Recent EPIC charting experience preferred (experience with electronic medical records / EMR systems)
• Must be able to shave for fit testing onsite if required
• All requested time off must be submitted with initial application

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the LTAC Med/Surg Telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Continuous telemetry monitoring and interpretation; identify and manage dysrhythmias
• Ventilator management and weaning protocols for patients with acute respiratory failure and post-COVID care
• Manage patients with sepsis, renal failure, pneumonia, heart failure, and other complex medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy (PT), respiratory therapy (RT), pharmacy, case management, and social services
• Float to lower levels of care as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and comply with facility policies and quality standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as required
