Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370
• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (Rochester healthcare jobs, travel nursing)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 8, 2026 – September 5, 2026)
• Shift: Days; 3x12-hour shifts per week; on-call for weekends and nights
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements

• Active RN license — New York State required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Minimum 2 years Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
• Operating room experience in a Level I trauma hospital strongly preferred
• Experience with neurosurgery, perioperative care, or specialty surgical cases is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide moderate sedation and comprehensive perioperative nursing care for a broad range of surgical patients
• Support neuro cases and assist in neurosurgery procedures in the Main OR as a Neuro OR RN
• Assist across multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma
• Participate in robotic (DaVinci) surgical cases and assist with transplant procedures (liver, kidney, heart)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgeons, anesthesiology, perfusion, transplant teams) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotations for weekends and nights as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, perioperative protocols, and patient safety standards
