• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (University Circle – easy access to downtown and cultural attractions)

• Shift: 12-hour shifts (Mon & Wed: 11:00 AM – 11:45 PM; Thu: 7:00 PM – 7:45 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36

This travel nurse role is ideal for experienced perioperative nurses and surgical RNs who thrive in a fast-paced operating room environment. You will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, support thoracic and pediatric OR cases, and work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and PACU teams. Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (Ohio preferred; Compact RN license holders considered)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Perioperative or surgical nursing experience (scrub nurse and circulating nurse duties preferred)
• Ability to complete onboarding: health screenings, background check, skills checklist, competency exams
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient safety focus
• CNOR or pediatric OR experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Operating Room
• Perform scrub nurse and circulating nurse responsibilities to maintain aseptic technique and surgical flow
• Assist with thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute cases, pediatric PACU, and pediatric OR cases
• Monitor patient status, respond to intraoperative changes, and assist in emergencies as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold patient safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perioperative team members, and PACU nurses to ensure excellent patient outcomes
