  • Location: Fort Worth, TX 76177 (Tarrant County) — Fort Worth healthcare opportunity
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel respiratory therapist)
  • Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 6:30 AM) — Night shift RRT
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Unit: Respiratory Therapy (Hospital setting) — critical care, ICU, NICU, ED coverage

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital experience; critical care (ICU), NICU, and ED experience required
  • Proficient in drawing and interpreting ABGs
  • Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system required
  • Experience with advanced ventilator management and transport monitoring
  • Dress code: black scrubs required (must be purchased); clean/healthy nails (no artificial nails), neat hair, covered tattoos, and no visible piercings except ears

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform ABGs and assist with intubation and advanced airway management
  • Provide respiratory care across age ranges: neonates, pediatrics, adults
  • Deliver nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, CPT, and other respiratory procedures
  • Operate and manage ventilators (including Servo I ventilator) and point-of-care testing (I-Stat devices)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, physicians, RT leadership) to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Meditech and follow hospital policies for clinical documentation
  • Provide compassionate patient- and family-centered care and exceptional customer service
