• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 - $1,580
• Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527 — Finger Lakes region (Penn Yan, New York travel LPN job)
• Employment Type: Travel (LPN travel nursing assignment)
• Duration: 13 weeks (April 28, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts (Any shift)
• Minimum Shift Requirement: 24 hours (or 3 shifts) within a 4-week period, with at least 2 shifts on weekends
• Start Date: Candidate must be available to start on a Tuesday or Thursday, full shift

Job Requirements (LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse)

• Active NY LPN licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse - New York)
• BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility
• Experience providing care to adult and geriatric residents (geriatric nursing, dementia care a plus)
• Knowledge of principles of growth and development across the lifespan
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities (Long-Term Care LPN)

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Collect, document, and communicate clinical data relevant to residents' physical and psychosocial condition
• Contribute to creation and revision of age-appropriate, culturally relevant care plans
• Collaborate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and in-service programs
• Participate in mentoring, orientation, and support of staff (clinical support and leadership)
• Consider safety, cost, and impact in planning and delivery of care in the long-term care setting
• Demonstrate professionalism, infection control, and adherence to policies regarding occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens
