Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Active RN license (Compact license holders may apply where applicable)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong comprehensive assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with septic and mechanically ventilated patients and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to float to other inpatient areas as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care for critically ill adults (sepsis, respiratory failure, endocrine, substance abuse, psychiatric comorbidities)
• Manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring devices; care for mechanically ventilated patients
• Use advanced ICU equipment including Alaris pumps, Arctic Sun, PrisMax, and EV1000
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios (1:1, 1:2, or 1:3) based on acuity
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating flexibility, empathy, and strong communication
• Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and Epic EMR modules
• Adhere to facility policies and professional appearance (navy scrubs)
