Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,010 – $1,060
• Location: Hattiesburg, MS 39402 (Hattiesburg healthcare / Mississippi nursing jobs)
• Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / LVN – Travel Nurse
• Setting: Skilled Nursing / Transitional Care Unit (long-term care)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 3/2 split schedule (4 shifts one week, 3 the next) — night shift LPN
• Hours per week: 36
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• On-Site Position

Job Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license in the United States (must meet state licensure requirements)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — AHA preferred
• IV Certification (required) — experience with IV therapy in long-term care preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or transitional care unit
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a 3/2 split schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a skilled nursing / long-term care setting
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed, following facility protocols
• Monitor resident health status, recognize changes, and report to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and physicians to support quality patient outcomes
• Document resident care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote a safe, comfortable living environment
