Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1800 - $1890 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237 — Indianapolis nursing jobs, Central Indiana
• Setting: Adult Intensive Care Unit (30 beds)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00-07:30) — Night Shift ICU RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Commitment: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday nights)
• Start Date: 4/20/2026

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in any state; ability to obtain Indiana license preferred
• Minimum 2 years of progressive ICU experience as an ICU RN or Critical Care RN
• ACLS and BLS certifications current
• Strong comprehensive assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with mechanically ventilated patients, sepsis management, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to float to other inpatient areas as needed
• Preferred: Experience with CRRT (Prismax) and Epic EMR

Responsibilities / Clinical Duties

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to adult ICU patients including sepsis, respiratory failure, endocrine and psychiatric comorbidities
• Manage mechanically ventilated patients and utilize hemodynamic monitoring tools like EV1000
• Operate and troubleshoot ICU devices such as Alaris pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax (CRRT), and other advanced equipment
• Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (1:1, 1:2, or 1:3) based on acuity
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Complete required orientation modules and Epic EMR training as needed
• Adhere to facility policies and dress code (navy scrubs)
