Work with advanced imaging equipment including GE portables, GE C-arms, and Phillips rooms in a modern main hospital Imaging/X-Ray unit. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 - $1,820
• Location: Lenexa, KS (Zip: 66215) — Johnson County
• Position Type: Travel Radiology Technologist / Travel Rad Tech
• Facility Setting: Main Hospital, Imaging/X-Ray Unit
• Shift: Nights 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM (10-hour nights)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Dress Code: Black scrubs required

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience (Operating Room/OR imaging experience preferred)
• Valid ARRT registration (ARRT-R)
• Kansas Radiology Technologist License or ability to obtain KS licensure
• Comfortable with night shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting
• BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including portable X-rays, C-arm fluoroscopy, and digital radiography using GE and Phillips systems
• Provide high-quality radiologic services in the Operating Room and Imaging Unit for surgical and trauma cases
• Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records, image documentation, and adhere to hospital protocols and radiation safety standards
• Demonstrate professionalism, patient-centered communication, and uphold infection control practices
