- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 19, 2026)
- Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 6:30am–3:00pm), plus call & holiday requirements
- Hours per Week: 40
- Unit: Surgery – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) / Hybrid OR
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR experience; experience as a Cardiovascular OR Nurse or Cardiothoracic RN preferred
- Hands-on experience with open heart and endovascular surgery
- Familiarity with IABP, Impella, ECMO, and hybrid OR procedures
- Ability to participate in call rotations and holiday coverage
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in open heart, cardiothoracic, and endovascular surgical procedures as a perioperative/CVOR nurse
- Collaborate with 2 CT surgeons and 8 vascular surgeons across heart and hybrid rooms
- Support 2–10 cardiovascular cases per day in busy heart and hybrid ORs
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards in a fast-paced Level I trauma center
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across 29 operating rooms to coordinate perioperative care
