Travel ER RN (night shift) in Aberdeen, WA — 13-week travel contract with competitive weekly pay and flexibility to pick up extra shifts. Join our Emergency Department (ED) team in the Pacific Northwest.
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) and Travel Nurses to join a welcoming hospital community in Aberdeen, Washington. Located at the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula, Aberdeen offers a vibrant small-town atmosphere with friendly locals, scenic riverfront parks, and a lively arts and music scene. Enjoy easy access to beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and the Olympic National Forest, as well as local restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions. This travel contract is ideal for ED RNs who enjoy fast-paced acute care nursing, night shift work, and the opportunity to explore the best of the Pacific Northwest in a supportive community setting.
Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Location: Aberdeen, WA 98520 — Pacific Northwest / Washington healthcare
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (18:30 – 07:00) — Night shift ER RN / Travel Nurse role
- Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
- Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN / Travel Nurse)
- Openings: 3 ER RN positions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Emergency Department RN or ER Nurse
- Current Washington State RN license or Multi-State (Compact) RN license
- Completed approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
- Nursys demographic verification
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
- Familiarity with Meditech is helpful but not required (experience with EHR systems preferred)
- Strong teamwork, clinical judgment, and emergency nursing skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients across the lifespan in a busy ED
- Triage, resuscitate, stabilize, and manage urgent and emergent conditions with clinical expertise
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Demonstrate adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced emergency department environment
- Offer compassionate support and clear communication to patients and families
