• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 – $1,990 (Travel Nurse / Emergency Department RN)
• Location: Julesburg, CO (Zip: 80737) — rural hospital, critical access
• Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (Start: 5/1/2026 – End: 7/25/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (Night Shift ER RN / Travel Nurse)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Emergency Department (ED) with float to Medical-Surgical (MS)
• Patient Ratio: 2:1
• Ideal Candidate: Experienced ED nurse / travel registered nurse comfortable in rural acute care

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient RN experience; ED experience strongly preferred
• Active Colorado RN license
• Required certifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ACLS, BLS
• Hands-on experience with cardiac drips and diabetic drips
• Comfortable using telemetry monitoring and basic cardiac interpretation
• Ability to prepare and mix medications independently (no in-house pharmacy)
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Emergency Department as an ER RN / ED nurse
• Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed to support inpatient care
• Assess, triage, and manage patients across all ages—pediatric to geriatric
• Monitor and titrate cardiac and diabetic drips per protocol
• Utilize telemetry equipment for continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment
• Prepare, mix, and administer medications safely and independently
• Document care clearly and accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
