Job Details — COTA Travel Assignment (Hays, KS)

• Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) — Travel / Contract
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 – $1,460
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Clinical Setting: Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU), 11 beds
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days), Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Location: Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS 67601 — travel therapy job in Kansas

• Dress Code & Parking: Scrubs or business casual; onsite parking

Job Requirements — Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Kansas
• Experience in a rehabilitation or hospital setting is a plus, but all experience levels are welcome
• Familiarity with Meditech and/or NetHealth EMR systems is a plus
• Ability to float to other units as needed per mutual staffing agreement
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary rehab environment

Responsibilities — Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions to patients in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, and rehab staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Assist patients to improve functional abilities, independence, and discharge readiness
• Accurately document patient evaluation, treatment, and progress in Meditech/NetHealth EMR
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning and patient-centered goals
• Float to other units as needed to support facility staffing and continuity of care
