LTAC Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Job in Dallas, TX — 2+ years LTAC/Telemetry experience required; active Texas or multi-state compact RN license preferred. Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890 (competitive travel RN pay)
- Location: Dallas, TX 75231 — Dallas nursing jobs, Texas RN opportunities
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN)
- Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – June 24, 2026)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-Hour Days (06:45 – 19:15)
- Number of Positions: 2 LTAC RNs needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years LTAC and/or Telemetry RN experience required (LTAC RN, Telemetry RN)
- Active Texas RN license or multi-state compact RN license (attach to resume)
- BLS & ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only; attach to submission)
- Demonstrated ventilator and tracheostomy care experience
- Familiarity with central line management and infection prevention
- Wound care experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership skills in a critical care/long-term acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to LTAC patients using the nursing process
- Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, central lines, and complex wound care as clinically indicated
- Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms relevant to LTAC population
- Apply scientific judgment and critical thinking to plan and deliver safe patient care
- Maintain and expand clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
- Delegate and supervise direct care staff based on scope, education, and experience
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
