  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890 (competitive travel RN pay)

  • Shift: 12-Hour Days (06:45 – 19:15)
  • Number of Positions: 2 LTAC RNs needed

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years LTAC and/or Telemetry RN experience required (LTAC RN, Telemetry RN)
  • Active Texas RN license or multi-state compact RN license (attach to resume)
  • BLS & ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only; attach to submission)
  • Demonstrated ventilator and tracheostomy care experience
  • Familiarity with central line management and infection prevention
  • Wound care experience preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership skills in a critical care/long-term acute care setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to LTAC patients using the nursing process
  • Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, central lines, and complex wound care as clinically indicated
  • Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms relevant to LTAC population
  • Apply scientific judgment and critical thinking to plan and deliver safe patient care
  • Maintain and expand clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
  • Delegate and supervise direct care staff based on scope, education, and experience
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
