• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890

• Setting: Oncology Medical Surgical Unit (SHORB 9 CV SERVICES M/S)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 4 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 48 hours
• Employment Type: Travel nurse, on-site

Key Qualifications (Oncology RN / Travel Nurse)

• Minimum 2 years recent Oncology Medical-Surgical RN experience (3 years preferred) — oncology nursing experience required
• At least 1 completed previous travel nurse assignment (first-time travelers accepted only with 3 years recent experience)
• Active RN license in Tennessee or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) compliant state
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certificate / provider card REQUIRED (chemotherapy administration & immunotherapy experience)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Level I Trauma Center experience and experience in large hospital settings preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred (electronic medical record / EMR experience)
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility (strict radius rule)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality oncology nursing care to adult medical-surgical oncology patients in a fast-paced unit
• Safely administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments and manage related side effects
• Perform patient assessments, participate in care planning, and document accurately in Cerner (or facility EMR)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using a team nursing model to ensure patient-centered care
• Float between like units and area campuses within a 20-mile radius as needed
• Provide compassionate patient and family education and emotional support during treatment
• Work scheduled weekends and on-call shifts as required by the travel oncology assignment
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, travel agency requirements, and state regulations
