CVOR Registered Nurse – Travel RN opportunity in Baltimore, MD (21218). 13-week contract supporting complex cardiac and vascular surgeries; open-heart and perioperative CVOR experience required.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Location: Baltimore, MD 21218 (Baltimore healthcare, Maryland nursing jobs)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour (06:00 - 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Call: Required (4 shifts per 6-week schedule)
• Start Date: May 5, 2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience; cardiac surgery/open-heart experience required
• Proven ability to scrub and circulate cardiovascular cases (CABG, valve replacement, TAVR support, MAZE)
• Experience with complex cardiovascular instrumentation and perioperative nursing practices
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Valid compact or Maryland RN license
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for adult cardiac and vascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR (circulate for structural heart), MAZE, and other complex cases
• Provide high-quality perioperative patient care for adults undergoing cardiovascular surgery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (anesthesia, perfusion, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, PT/OT, rapid response)
• Ensure accurate documentation, instrument counts, and compliance with patient safety protocols
• Participate in weekend and weekday call rotations as scheduled
• Mentor and communicate with OR team members to support efficient workflow and patient outcomes
