Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Location: Falmouth, MA (Cape Cod region) — local travel nursing opportunity
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 8, 2026)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour rotating night shifts (7p-7a), every other weekend, rotating holidays — ideal for experienced night shift RNs
• Employment Type: Travel
• Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (may float between FHA and CCH as needed)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele RN or Telemetry Nurse experience
• IV therapy and phlebotomy experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred (travel nurse, travel RN)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) — must be maintained throughout the contract
• Successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia exam (telemetry monitoring competency)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse
• Perform phlebotomy and manage intravenous therapy/IV medication administration
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry; assess and respond to arrhythmias and cardiac medications
• Provide safe medication administration, accurate documentation, and utilization of electronic medical records (EMR)
• Deliver patient- and family-centered teaching and discharge planning
• Care for patients with chest drainage devices, epidural analgesia, and post-operative/orthopedic needs
• Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team and provide high-quality clinical support
• Identify and report signs of neglect/abuse per legal and institutional requirements
• Adhere to department and facility standards while maintaining a professional, customer-service approach
• Address age-specific needs for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Other duties as assigned
