Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,130 – $1,210
• Role: Sterile Processing Technician / Central Sterile (CSPD) Technician
• Location: Boston, MA 02115 (Foxborough location) — Boston healthcare / Massachusetts sterile processing jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 3, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
• Shift: Evening, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Guaranteed 40 hours)
• Employment Type: Travel Sterile Processing / Travel CSPD
• Setting: Hospital – Clinical Support Services (Surgical instrument processing, sterilization)
• Schedule Notes: No weekends or holidays required

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required
• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience required (2–4 years preferred)
• Experience with case cart assembly, surgical tray preparation, and instrument sterilization
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and materials management for Central Sterile (familiarity with AAMI/CDC guidance preferred)
• Ability to perform tests and inspections to evaluate instrument quality and sterilization performance

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization procedures for surgical instruments and medical equipment following established protocols and infection control standards
• Process specialty and general instrument sets; reset and inspect instrument sets accurately to support surgical services
• Decontaminate and clean instruments and equipment using proper techniques and personal protective equipment
• Prepare and assemble surgical trays and case carts based on established tray listings and surgeon preferences
• Maintain Central Sterile stock levels and manage inventory to support the operating room schedule
• Conduct routine testing, inspections, and records documentation to ensure sterilization efficacy and compliance
• Report instrument repair needs and coordinate with leadership or vendor services as required
