Job Details – Travel Nursing Job

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710 - $1,800
• Location: Rosedale, MD 21237 (Baltimore-area travel nurse position)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 5, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:30 - 07:00), 4x12-hour shifts per week (48 hours/week) — night shift telemetry RN
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and other holidays during contract
• Patient Ratio: 1:5 or 1:6
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs (not provided)
• Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)

Job Requirements – Med/Surg Telemetry RN (Travel)

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (Med/Surg Tele RN or Telemetry Nurse)
• Active RN license (Maryland RN license or compact license accepted)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms)
• Cerner charting experience preferred (electronic medical record / EMR experience helpful)
• Comfortable caring for patients undergoing gender-affirmation surgery (experience preferred, not required)
• Ability and willingness to float to units of equal or lower acuity
• Two supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required for all employees

Responsibilities – Telemetry Nursing / Med-Surg

• Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit (med-surg nursing, telemetry monitoring)
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret telemetry rhythms and cardiac monitors
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy
• Administer blood products and support hemodialysis pre/post procedures
• Provide care for patients with surgical drains, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomies
• Implement and follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Document patient care accurately and timely using Cerner (EMR documentation)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV team, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Float to other units as needed to support hospital staffing
