• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel Nurse
• Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii (96750) – Big Island nursing jobs
• Assignment: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 19, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week; 72 hours every two weeks)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250 (travel contract pay)
• Openings: 4 travel nurse positions

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (Med-Surg/Telemetry preferred)
• Active RN license (Hawaii RN license or compact RN licensure preferred)
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ability to float between Med/Surg and Telemetry units and adapt to changing assignments
• Strong clinical skills for Med/Surg overflow in ICU and Emergency Department (ED)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration

Core Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients on Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Float between two medical-surgical/telemetry units as staffing needs dictate
• Manage Med/Surg (MS) overflow patients in ICU and Emergency Department (ED) settings
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Remain flexible and responsive to changing patient acuity and unit assignments common in travel nursing roles
