Job Details – Telemetry Registered Nurse / Travel Nurse

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 – $1,840
• Location: Alabaster, AL 35007 (Birmingham area)
• Facility: Acute Care – 4-Medical Unit (21 beds)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: 3x12 hour nights (18:45 – 07:15), every 3rd weekend as needed
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel / Travel Nurse / Telemetry RN
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs

Required Qualifications – Telemetry RN / Acute Care Nurse

• Minimum 2 years recent acute care RN experience with Telemetry/cardiac monitoring required
• Active RN license in Alabama (compact licensure if applicable)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, NCI, CPI
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Ability to float as needed within scope to other facilities within a 25-mile radius
• Flexible to work AM/PM shifts as needed

Core Responsibilities – Telemetry Nurse / Cardiac Monitoring

• Provide high-quality nursing care to acute and intermediate acute care patients on the Telemetry unit
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and escalate care per facility protocols
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and dress code; float to other units as needed within scope
