• Unit: 4 South (PCU / Telemetry)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Registered Nurse

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU / Telemetry nursing experience (Telemetry RN experience required)
• Active RN license (state verification required)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Epic electronic health record experience within the last 12 months (must be listed on resume)
• Recent phlebotomy experience (within last 12 months preferred)
• Accredited nursing degree (ACEN or CCNE accredited program)
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Personal health history and professional credentials required for onboarding
• Interview required — please provide availability for scheduling

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Telemetry floor
• Monitor and manage cardiovascular and neurological patients, including continuous telemetry and medication drips
• Perform frequent NIH Stroke Scale assessments and respond to changes in patient condition
• Care for COVID and isolation patients according to facility protocols
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:5–1:6
• Float to other units as required to support staffing needs
• Document care, assessments, and medication administration accurately in Epic
• Perform phlebotomy and other clinical skills as needed; participate in unit competency exams and skills checklists
