Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040 – $2,150
• Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado (81601) — Colorado travel nursing jobs, Colorado nursing jobs
• Setting: Acute Care / Med-Surg Adult, Telemetry, Observation Unit (Med-Surg RN, Telemetry RN)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 14, 2026 – July 14, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12 Hour Rotating (night shifts including weekend rotation)
• On-Call: Must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period if requested due to staffing needs
• Housing: Newly remodeled, fully furnished studio apartments available just 1/2 block from the hospital (based on availability)

Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Minimum 2 years of Acute Care / Med-Surg / Telemetry RN experience required (travel nurse experience a plus)
• At least 3 years of RN Med/Surg experience preferred
• Current RN license to practice in Colorado (Compact license holders must verify state requirements)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Must be willing to participate in call rotation
• Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from facility

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Med/Surg Acute Care and Observation Unit
• Use clinical judgment to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care (patient assessment, care planning, interventions)
• Monitor and manage patients with complex disease states, including post-orthopedic surgery and hybrid cath lab procedures
• Provide telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in cardiac status (Telemetry RN responsibilities)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Provide Intermediate Care in CCU as needed and support unit staffing flexibility
