Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 - $2,200
• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (Travel Nurse — Rochester, NY)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel Nursing)
• Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening/Night); every other weekend; holidays/on-call/callback/charge as needed
• Setting: Med/Surg Float Pool – Level II RN (Med-Surg RN / Telemetry)

Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (NY license only)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience (Med-Surg/Telemetry experience required)
• Telemetry competency and recent clinical experience with monitored patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent, evidence-based patient care across multiple Med/Surg units (Med-Surg RN job duties)
• Float to various specialized units as needed, supporting Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, Transplant, Rehab and more (Float Pool experience)
• Perform charge nurse duties, preceptorship, and participate in unit committee work
• Maintain high standards of clinical practice, patient safety, and service excellence
• Engage in professional development and contribute to research or quality improvement initiatives
• Adapt to rotating shift schedules and unit needs, including weekends, holidays and on-call responsibilities
