Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or Nurse Licensure Compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; long-term care nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or equivalent
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet travel LPN assignment schedule
• Strong communication, documentation (EMR) and teamwork skills

Responsibilities – Long-Term Care LPN

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care / skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility policies and state regulations
• Monitor and document resident progress, vital signs, and changes in condition accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (RNs, CNAs, therapists, social workers) to ensure quality care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support overall resident well-being
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, infection control, and New Mexico long-term care regulations
