Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico (or Nurse Licensure Compact eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; long-term care nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or equivalent
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet travel LPN assignment schedule
- Strong communication, documentation (EMR) and teamwork skills
Responsibilities – Long-Term Care LPN
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care / skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility policies and state regulations
- Monitor and document resident progress, vital signs, and changes in condition accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (RNs, CNAs, therapists, social workers) to ensure quality care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support overall resident well-being
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols, infection control, and New Mexico long-term care regulations
