Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (dialysis experience preferred; prior hemodialysis or renal dialysis experience a plus)
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities (Dialysis Nurse)

• Provide direct patient care to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment (hemodialysis)
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after dialysis procedures, including vital signs and fluid status
• Operate and monitor dialysis machines and equipment; follow facility protocols for safety and infection control
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dialysis technicians, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, vascular access care, and ongoing renal health
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility and regulatory protocols
