• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Location: Newton Lower Falls, Massachusetts (02462) — convenient access to Boston; ideal for Massachusetts nursing jobs and travel nurses
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:15p–7:15a); weekends and holidays required
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site — NICU RN / neonatal nurse position

NICU RN Job Requirements

• Active RN license with NICU specialty certification (state licensure requirements apply)
• Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience as a neonatal nurse or NICU RN
• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Completion of required onboarding and orientation (including health screenings and background checks)
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to compassionate neonatal care in a Special Care Nursery
• Certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and BLS are preferred

NICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to neonates in the Special Care Nursery as a NICU RN / neonatal nurse
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform required interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (neonatology, respiratory therapy, lactation, social work) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate and support families throughout their NICU experience, providing family-centered neonatal care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety and infection control standards
