• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,400 - $2,520 (travel nursing pay)
• Location: Walla Walla, WA 99362 — travel nursing jobs in Washington
• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
• Shift: Variable 8-hour day shifts (07:00-15:30 or 11:30-19:30), 40 hours per week
• On-Call: 1 weeknight per week, 1 weekend every 6 weeks (call only)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 (OR circulating nurse)
• Parking: Free onsite parking
• Charting / EMR: Epic EMR experience required

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent circulating experience in the Operating Room (perioperative/surgical nurse)
• Travel RN experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Valid Washington RN license or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with Epic charting system (electronic medical record)
• References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Ability to respond to callback within 20 minutes (on-call room available if needed)
• Preferred: Previous OR charge nurse or charge experience

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate across a broad range of surgical specialties: General, Orthopedics, Neuro, GYN, OB (C-sections), ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Ophthalmology
• Provide perioperative patient care for all ages: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Operate and support advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi and Mako Surgical Systems
• Adhere to universal protocol (time-out) and sterile technique standards
• Participate in OB on-call coverage for C-sections and other urgent OR procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: anesthesia, surgical techs, Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, and case management
• Complete required orientation and annual compliance modules prior to start
