• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650 (travel nurse pay)
• Location: Thomasville, GA 31792 — Thomasville, Georgia (local travel nursing)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:00) — Night shift ICU RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: ICU (18 beds) — critical care unit
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• End Date: July 20, 2026

ICU RN Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU (critical care) experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (valid in the state of assignment)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Clinical proficiency with ventilator management, ICP monitoring, telemetry, PA lines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, IV starts, and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Experience with Cerner/Soarian EMR preferred
• Ability to float to IMCU or CPU (step-down/monitoring units) as needed
• References, skills checklist, updated NURSYS, and a copy of driver’s license required for submission

Responsibilities — Critical Care / ICU RN

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
• Respond to Code Blue and CAT calls as part of the hospital critical response team
• Manage critical drips and vasoactive medications per facility protocol (e.g., Levophed, Neosynephrine, Vasopressin, Cardene, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Propofol, Precedex, heparin)
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures including intubation, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, EGD/colonoscopy support, thoracentesis, chest tube placement, central line placement, and ventricular drain placement
• Perform IV placement, arterial sticks, and lab draws; monitor hemodynamics and advanced lines
• Participate in bedside reporting, whiteboard communication, and unit protocols to reduce CLABSI, CAUTI, and HAPU
• Support early mobility initiatives and nurse-driven Foley removal protocols
• Float to step-down or intermediate care units as needed
• Work weekends and holidays as scheduled — typical travel nurse schedule expectations
