• Position: Travel MRI Technologist / MRI Tech (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
• Location: Alexandria, VA 22304 — Alexandria VA MRI jobs; close to Washington, D.C.
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
• Shift: Evening shift, 8?hour (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM); 40 hours/week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,170 – $2,330
• On?Call / Holiday Coverage: Weekly rotation and holidays scheduled into assignment
• Floating: Yes — may float to other units as needed
• Systems: Epic EMR, Visage PACS
• Equipment: GE Hero and Siemens MRI scanners

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Tech / MRI Technologist experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Certification: ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience with GE Hero and/or Siemens scanners preferred
• Epic EMR and Visage PACS experience preferred
• Strong IV skills preferred (contrast administration experience a plus)

Core Responsibilities

• Perform high?quality MRI scans using GE Hero and Siemens equipment, following hospital protocols and safety standards
• Provide exceptional patient care: screening, positioning, and preparation for MRI procedures
• Document procedures and patient information in Epic EMR and manage images in Visage PACS
• Adhere to radiation safety and MRI safety procedures, including screening for implants and contraindications
• Participate in scheduled on?call and holiday rotations and float to other units when required
• Demonstrate strong IV/contrast administration skills and support technologists and radiologists as needed
