Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of direct Cath Lab Technologist experience (cardiac catheterization/interventional cardiology)
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with fluoroscopy, radiation safety, sterile technique, and cath lab imaging equipment
- Strong clinical documentation and protocol compliance skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Springfield, IL
- Availability to start on April 20, 2026 and complete a 13-week travel assignment
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and clinical team during cardiac catheterization and other interventional cardiac procedures
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain Cath Lab imaging equipment and monitors
- Prepare sterile instrument trays and ensure adherence to sterile technique
- Monitor patient status, assist with patient positioning, and provide intra-procedural support as needed
- Perform accurate documentation in electronic medical records and follow hospital policies and safety protocols
- Collaborate closely with interventional cardiology teams to deliver high-quality patient care
