Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Location: Niagara Falls, NY 14301 (Western New York / Niagara Falls healthcare)
• Assignment Duration: 8 weeks (April 1, 2026 – May 27, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel ER RN
• On-Site Position

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room / Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills required for ER nursing
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary emergency care settings

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries as an ER nurse
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity and ED protocols
• Assess, treat, and continuously monitor patient conditions in the emergency department
• Administer medications, IVs, and interventions as ordered and per scope of practice
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary staff to coordinate care
• Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions in the electronic medical record
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients, families, and the ED team
