• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,090
• Location: Liberty, MO 64068 (Kansas City area)
• Role: ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN) / Critical Care Nurse – Travel Nurse
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday Requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• Floating: ICU staff may float to Stepdown/PCU unit
• Nicotine-Free Facility

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required (critical care nurse experience)
• Experience in Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center preferred
• Experience with CTS and Neuro patients preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• Active RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to float to Stepdown/PCU unit as needed
• Must be nicotine-free (facility policy)
• New graduates will not be considered

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality critical care nursing and patient-centered care in the ICU setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, including CTS (cardiothoracic surgery) and Neuro cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based care plans
• Utilize Altera Sunrise EMR (training provided; similar to Cerner)
• Float to Stepdown/PCU unit as needed and provide continuity of care across units
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to support clinical competency
• Adhere to facility policies, including nicotine-free requirements
• Work scheduled weekends and holidays as required
