Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750 – $2,890
• Location: Olathe, KS 66061 (Kansas City metro area)
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab — Cath Lab RN / Interventional Cardiology Nurse role
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30), 4 days per week
• Weekend & Holiday Requirements: Required based on unit needs
• On-Call: 1–2 times per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend
• Orientation: Comprehensive multi-day orientation at KUKC Campus and Olathe facility

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience (cardiac catheterization / interventional cardiology experience)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Ability to float to Cath/IR/EP units as needed (Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology)
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and take on-call shifts
• Must be nicotine-free (facility policy)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting with cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Monitor patient status, interpret hemodynamic data, and respond to emergencies during procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, manage peri-procedural care, and perform post-procedure assessments
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Interventional Radiology (IR) and Electrophysiology (EP) units as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation and support weekend/holiday coverage
• Complete all required orientation, competency validation, and training sessions
