• Setting: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit — acute care, hospital RN job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• End Date: July 25, 2026
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) RN experience — strong acute care background
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Perioperative experience preferred (perioperative support and clinical assistance)
• Non-local candidates only — must live more than 50 miles from Canton, GA

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care on the Med/Surg unit as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document clinical care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Assist with perioperative procedures and provide perioperative nursing support when needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and post-discharge care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and infection control standards
