We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse (Endoscopy RN / GI Nurse) for a travel nurse contract in Lawrenceville, Georgia (zip code 30046). Work in a modern gastroenterology/endoscopy lab supporting colonoscopies, EGDs, and other endoscopic procedures while enjoying the amenities of Gwinnett County and easy access to Atlanta.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,780
• Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046 (Gwinnett County; near Atlanta)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Setting: GI/Endo Lab (Gastroenterology, Endoscopy)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (6:30am–5:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent endoscopy or GI Lab nursing experience (Endoscopy RN, GI Nurse)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be eligible to work on-site in Georgia)
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills in peri-procedural care, patient assessment, and monitoring
• Ability to work on-site in Lawrenceville, GA; no local candidates within 50 miles

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the GI/Endo Lab, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure assistance, and post-procedure recovery monitoring
• Assist physicians and techs during endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy, EGD) and maintain sterile technique
• Monitor patient vitals, respond to emergent situations, and escalate care when necessary
• Perform documentation, ensure accurate charting, and maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered gastroenterology care
