• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 – $2,040
• Location: Columbus, Ohio (43210) — Columbus travel nursing, Ohio nursing jobs
• Setting: Transplant Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — transplant nursing, abdominal organ transplant care
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:30); weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse opportunity

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience or comparable acute care experience
• Active RN license (compact license accepted or Ohio RN license required at time of submission)
• ACLS and BCLS (BLS) certifications required
• Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record (Epic charting)
• Two professional references (one from a manager/director or formal leadership)
• Seasonal influenza vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality adult patient care in the PCU with a focus on transplant nursing (kidney, liver, pancreas)
• Maintain an approximate patient ratio of 1:3
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and management of central and peripheral lines
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer blood products and manage enteral feeding tubes
• Care for patients pre- and post-hemodialysis, renal failure cases, and transplant postoperative care
• Document care accurately using Epic and participate in interdisciplinary care planning
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Social Work, Pharmacy, and other departments
• Float to other units as needed within the organization
