NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Level III, Travel Nurse opportunity in Columbus, Ohio (zip 43210). 13-week contract; must have NRP, BLS, and EPIC experience. Join our neonatal team providing high-quality neonatal intensive care and family-centered clinical care.

- Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour (07:30 – 19:30)

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience (Level III or IV neonatal nursing experience preferred)
- Valid RN license (compact nurse license accepted; Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting system (EPIC experience preferred)
- Ability to float to different units within the organization as needed
- Two professional references (one from manager/director or formal leadership; Charge RN acceptable for second reference)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care to infants from 22 weeks gestation and above in a Level III NICU
- Manage respiratory support and ventilator settings (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) and care for infants with respiratory distress
- Administer medications using Pyxis, including IV vasopressors, surfactants, and steroids
- Perform and manage procedures: arterial line management, central line care, umbilical catheter management, and IV therapy
- Care for neonates with surgical, cardiac, glucose management, and neonatal abstinence syndrome needs
- Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC and communicate with care team and families using SBAR
- Interpret and manage cardiovascular dysrhythmias and respond to neonatal emergencies
- Support gastrointestinal feeding methods and placement/management of oral, nasogastric, and nasojejunal tubes
- Implement infection control measures and collaborate with multidisciplinary team (NP, pharmacy, PT, radiology, respiratory services, social work)
