• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 19, 2026)
• Position Type: Travel Nurse – Orthopedic RN / Perioperative RN
• Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic (OP Ortho Clinic); support for two orthopedic ORs
• Schedule: Daylight shifts, rotating weekly (5:30am–2:00pm, 6:30am–3:00pm, 7:30am–finish)
• Shift Length: 8 hours per shift
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Call: 2 weekends required in a 6-week schedule (6am–6pm call coverage; no elective schedule, only call coverage)
• Team: Small collaborative team of 6 staff (3 RNs, 3 scrub techs)

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (compact license holders, verify eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year recent orthopedic or perioperative nursing experience (Outpatient OR or surgical tech experience preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work flexible daylight shifts and stay until cases are completed (may occasionally require working past scheduled shift)
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the orthopedic outpatient clinic and operating room settings as an Orthopedic RN
• Support elective orthopedic cases and assist with add-on procedures; provide perioperative patient care and OR support
• Participate in weekend call coverage as scheduled (call coverage shifts 6am–6pm)
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, scrub techs, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation, charting, and uphold patient safety standards and sterile technique
• Support a small, collaborative team environment and contribute to efficient OR workflow
