Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 19, 2026)
- Position Type: Travel Nurse – Orthopedic RN / Perioperative RN
- Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic (OP Ortho Clinic); support for two orthopedic ORs
- Schedule: Daylight shifts, rotating weekly (5:30am–2:00pm, 6:30am–3:00pm, 7:30am–finish)
- Shift Length: 8 hours per shift
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend Call: 2 weekends required in a 6-week schedule (6am–6pm call coverage; no elective schedule, only call coverage)
- Team: Small collaborative team of 6 staff (3 RNs, 3 scrub techs)

Job Requirements
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (compact license holders, verify eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year recent orthopedic or perioperative nursing experience (Outpatient OR or surgical tech experience preferred)
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work flexible daylight shifts and stay until cases are completed (may occasionally require working past scheduled shift)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the orthopedic outpatient clinic and operating room settings as an Orthopedic RN
- Support elective orthopedic cases and assist with add-on procedures; provide perioperative patient care and OR support
- Participate in weekend call coverage as scheduled (call coverage shifts 6am–6pm)
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, scrub techs, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation, charting, and uphold patient safety standards and sterile technique
- Support a small, collaborative team environment and contribute to efficient OR workflow
