Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 19, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a Compact State
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Med/Surg or a related acute care nursing specialty
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex patient care in the Med/Surg unit as a Med/Surg RN and travel nurse, practicing independently with strong clinical judgment
• Perform assessments and use the nursing process for diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document responses, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and all care provided according to facility standards
• Assess patient and family learning needs and deliver clear education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families while promoting patient safety and positive outcomes
• Delegate tasks and coordinate care with other clinical staff and support personnel appropriately
