Join a dynamic team at a leading Level 1 children's hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. As a Radiology Technologist (also commonly listed as Radiologic Technologist, X-ray Tech, or Rad Tech), you'll provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,420 - $1,530
- Location: Charleston, SC 29401 — Charleston healthcare / South Carolina radiology jobs
- Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Level 1 Children's Hospital (pediatric radiology)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 17, 2026 – July 17, 2026)
- Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist / radiologic technologist experience required
- Active ARRT (R) certification (Registered Radiographer)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
- South Carolina Radiology license in hand or pending with proof of application (SC radiology license)
- Experience in a trauma Level I setting preferred (trauma radiology experience a plus)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Proficiency with Siemens diagnostic equipment and C-Arms (experience with fluoroscopy and portable imaging)
- Comfortable working with all patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures including fluoroscopy, portable X-ray, OR imaging, and ED imaging
- Operate Siemens diagnostic equipment and C-Arms safely and effectively
- Prepare and administer contrast media according to protocols and provider orders
- Perform bedside and portable imaging for abdomen, chest, extremities, spine, and other anatomical regions
- Ensure image quality, proper patient positioning, and radiation protection standards
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and compliance with hospital protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary radiology and clinical teams to support optimal patient care in a fast-paced pediatric hospital
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to patients and caregivers
