- Shift: 8-hour days (08:00-16:00), Monday–Friday

Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care or hospital setting (acute care SLP, hospital SLP experience preferred)
- Familiarity with Net Health and ProTouch EMR systems preferred
- Ability to float to other units (Arlington or Dallas Central) as needed
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary care
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred but not required (preferred credential for many hospital SLP roles)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders in a hospital rehab / LTACH setting
- Conduct bedside swallowing evaluations and collaborate on care plans for dysphagia management
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with physicians, nurses, PT/OT, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Document patient progress, outcomes, and skilled therapeutic interventions using Net Health and ProTouch EMR systems
- Provide patient- and family-centered education and discharge planning support
- Float to other units within the hospital network (Arlington, Dallas Central) as needed to meet patient care demands
