- Setting: Hospital – Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Friday – Sunday (12-hour days)
- Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
- Employment Type: Travel Contract – Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiovascular Technologist
- On-Call: No call required
- Weekend Schedule: Every weekend
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Tech / Cardiovascular Technologist experience required (cardiac catheterization and angiography)
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current skills checklist (within 1 year) relevant to Cath Lab procedures
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Midland, MI (travel candidate requirement)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with prepping patients, sterile tray setup, post-cath care, room turnover, and procedure support
- Manipulate fluoroscopic/radiographic equipment and select appropriate imaging techniques for optimal image quality during angiography
- Process and perform quality control on cine radiographic images and digital imaging systems
- Operate and monitor electronic equipment including hemodynamic monitoring systems, cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, and temporary pacing devices
- Perform oxygen saturation studies, cardiac output measurements, and support pacemaker procedures as needed
- Collaborate with cath lab, interventional radiology staff, and physicians to ensure timely, efficient use of the cardiac cath lab and high-quality patient care
