- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,580 - $1,700
- Location: On-site in Lander, Wyoming (82520) — travel lab opportunity
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8-hour days)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Employment Type: Travel Contract — Laboratory Supervisor / Lab Manager responsibilities
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years recent laboratory supervisor or clinical laboratory lead experience
- ASCP certification required (ASCP-certified MT/CLS preferred)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- High school diploma required; completion of an accredited Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) training program (ABHES, CAHEA, or other HHS-approved organization)
- Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control (QC), and regulatory compliance (CLIA/CAP familiarity a plus)
- Demonstrated leadership skills in staffing, training, and workflow optimization
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations and supervise laboratory personnel performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests
- Ensure adherence to quality control protocols, CLIA and CAP standards, and other regulatory requirements
- Support the Laboratory Manager with staffing, scheduling, employee training, and performance evaluations
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, coordinate preventive maintenance, and manage supplies/inventory
- Promote efficient, collaborative workflows and a patient-focused laboratory culture
- Implement process improvements to increase accuracy, turnaround time, and compliance in lab testing
