Job Details – Travel OR RN / Perioperative Nurse

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 - $1,710
• Location: Chardon, Ohio (Zip: 44024) — Cleveland-area / Lake County travel nursing job
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (May 3, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
• Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
• On-Call: 1 weekday call per week (end of shift to 7 AM next day), 1 weekend call every 5 weeks (Saturday or Sunday)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / On-Site – Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — surgical specialty preferred (state license or compact privilege as required for credentialing)
• At least 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative / surgical nurse experience required)
• Completion of required health screenings and immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement
• UHS Skills Checklist and Submission Packet completion
• Valid Driver's License / State ID
• Background check and fingerprinting clearance

Primary Responsibilities – Perioperative & Surgical Nursing

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients across a range of cases
• Assist with thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute procedures, pediatric PACU, and pediatric OR cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure patient safety and positive clinical outcomes
• Maintain accurate perioperative documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and sterile technique
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations and support continuity of care during staffing coverage
