Job Details – Travel Nursing Opportunity

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Location: Weston, FL 33331 (Weston, Broward County, South Florida)
• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse / ER RN / Emergency Department Nurse
• Setting: Emergency Department (ED) – acute care, trauma-ready environment
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel nurse / travel contract

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience required; 2 years preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be valid in the hiring state)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross (required at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic charting experience, level 3 or 4 required (Epic EMR proficiency)
• Nicotine-free: negative 10-panel + cotinine drug screen required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical or religious exemptions only)
• Ability to float within scope as needed; flexibility for unit coverage
• First-time travel nurses accepted
• No pending certifications accepted; all certifications must be current
• EKG and Pharmacology tests required during orientation (study materials provided)
• All requested time off must be submitted up front

Responsibilities – Emergency Department (ED) Nurse)

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients across all acuity levels
• Perform triage, rapid assessment, and management of acute, critical, and trauma patients
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP, and mechanically ventilated patients
• Implement isolation precautions and appropriate PPE protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and timely using the Epic electronic health record (EHR)
• Participate in required training modules, competency validation, and orientation
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed to support facility needs
