Travel Physical Therapist (PT) — Brockton, MA. Massachusetts PT license required. 13-week travel assignment supporting inpatient and outpatient rehab across all ages and diagnoses.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 – $2,270
• Location: Brockton, MA (02301) — convenient access to Boston, MA
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour days, 8:00am – 4:30pm; every other weekend; no on-call
• Setting: Inpatient hospital floors and outpatient surgery center (1–2 days/week)
• Position Type: Travel Physical Therapist / Travel PT — acute care, inpatient & outpatient rehab

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in an acute care hospital or inpatient rehab setting
• Massachusetts Physical Therapist license (MA PT license) required
• CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider)
• Strong patient handling, transfers, and safety-focused rehab techniques
• Excellent communication, clinical documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask, be self-directed, flexible, and manage time effectively

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based physical therapy evaluation and treatment for patients across the lifespan, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical conditions
• Deliver care in both inpatient hospital units and the outpatient surgery center (1–2 days/week) as a travel PT
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional mobility, safety, discharge planning, and positive patient outcomes
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, case management, and interdisciplinary rehab team members to coordinate care
• Use best practices in patient handling, transfers, assistive device training, and fall prevention
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Support a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient-centered rehabilitation
