Job Requirements

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification
• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting (hospital SLP experience preferred)
• Ability to work full-time, on-site
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based clinical practice

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia management, dysarthria, aphasia)
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental conditions, and a range of adult and pediatric needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including rehab directors, nursing staff, and other hospital clinicians to coordinate patient care
• Document patient progress, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with hospital documentation standards
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and discharge strategies to support continuity of care
• Participate in hospital meetings and contribute to quality improvement and clinical outcome initiatives
