• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,080 – $2,230
• Location: University Hospital, Madison, WI 53792 (Madison, Wisconsin healthcare job)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: Evening/Nights, 8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday (13:00 – 21:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend, holiday, and standby call rotations: May be required based on operational needs

Job Requirements (Radiology Jobs / Travel Rad Tech)

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist / Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• State of Wisconsin Radiographer license (must be in hand at submittal)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Epic charting system experience required (electronic health record experience)
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred (trauma center experience)
• Competency in adult, pediatric, and neonatal imaging
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Telemetry exam required prior to start (strict pass criteria)

Responsibilities (Radiology Technologist / Imaging Technologist)

• Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adult, geriatric, adolescent, and pediatric patients using advanced radiographic equipment
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems
• Make quick, technically informed decisions to accommodate patient physical restrictions and pathology
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and standby call rotations as needed
• Float to multiple units based on staffing needs (cross-cover within hospital radiology departments)
• Maintain infection prevention, isolation precautions, and radiation safety standards
