• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 4/20/2026, End: 7/20/2026)
• Patient Ratio: 4-5 patients per nurse
• Orientation: 16 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Telemetry RN experience (travel nursing experience preferred)
• Active Tennessee RN license or valid Compact RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS certification required
• Epic charting experience within the last 12 months (must be detailed on profile)
• COVID-19 and seasonal Flu vaccines required (no flu declinations accepted)
• Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy cardiac/surgical/telemetry floor
• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips and rhythms; act as telemetry nurse for rapid identification of arrhythmias
• Manage cardiac drips (no titration), assist rapid response and code teams, and coordinate emergency care
• Administer procedural sedation, follow IV insulin protocols, and manage blood product administration
• Care for post-surgical, cardiac, and general medical patients with strong clinical assessment skills
• Perform wound care, central and peripheral line management, and tracheostomy care
• Float to other Medical-Surgical/Tele units or low-acuity ICU as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record
